Tyin area offers a diverse and exciting cycling terrain. From Tyinholmen there is a 9 km construction road into Koldedalen to the foot of the famous peak Falketind. On this trip you will experience a spectacular mountain terrain with stunning views of glaciers, waterfalls, blue-green lakes and several well known 2000 meter peaks. You may also cycle the 3 km short way to Eidsbugarden and visit Vinjebui which was built by the famous poet Aasmund Olavsson Vinje already in 1868. Another option is to cycle the road along lake Tyin, which provides an impressive view of the series of peaks across Jotunheimen. You may also bring your bike on the boat M / B Bitihorn on lake Bygdin and further follow Valdresflya to Gudbrandsdalen. Tyinholmen has bicycles to borrow.
