Otherwise, we recommend taking the interesting walk into the desolate farm of Vetti where you can experience one of the highest waterfall in Northern Europe - just a 40 minute drive from Tyinholmen via Årdal. In wintertime lake Tyin is a well known and popular choice for kite skiing enthusiasts - you will find optimal conditions for kite skiing with an wide open mountain landscape, with stable and favorable wind conditions. Tyin is also known as an excellent fishing lake, and we arrange annual ice fishing contests here in late winter.
